Event 2013
The second Surrey Supercycle is a county wide event to be held on Sunday 14th July to raise funds for charities who provide play and leisure short breaks for families of children and young people with disabilities. Participants of all ages or abilities are encouraged to take on one of the three cycle challenges on offer, click here for details. All registered cyclists will receive a certificate, goody bag plus a finisher's medal. There will also be a range of other fun activities on the day including bouncy castles, face painting, BBQ and refreshments. The cost per cyclist is £5, spectators can come free!
We are hoping to encourage as many children and young people with disabilities to take part in the Surrey Supercycle and to make this possible we have enlisted the help of Wheels for All who are a national charity working in Surrey to make cycling accessible for everyone. They will be bringing a fleet of adapted cycles including three wheelers, tandems, hand powered cycles of all shapes and sizes that will enable anyone and everyone to participate in the Surrey Supercycle! Adapted bikes plus helmets and professional support will be provided free of charge. Please tick on the relevant box on the registration form to let us know that you will need this service.
Last year, over 100 volunteers from ten of Surrey’s leading disability charities opened the doors to over 300 cyclists of all ages and abilities giving them their very own ‘Top Gear’ experience at the first fully inclusive Surrey Supercycle. Eagle FM and paralympian Rachel Morris joined us on the day inspiring everyone to get on their bikes and do it for charity!

The Surrey Supercycle is a Community Games Event supported by Wheels for All and sponsored by Surrey County Council through Surrey Short Breaks.
